Its commercial vehicle brands include "JinBei" and "Granse" minibuses and its sedan brand includes "Zhonghua". In 2003, the Group also established a joint venture with BMW to produce BMW 3-series and 5-series sedans in China.

(Yuejin Motor Group/Nanqi/MG Rover) - was founded in 1947. Some brands owned by Nanjing are Soyat, MG, Yuejin and also have joint ventures with Fiat & Iveco.

With initial total investment of more than USD 50 million, the company is striving for leading manufacturer of pickup and SUV in China.

(Chang'an Automobile) - has cooperated with international auto leaders such as Ford, Mazda and Suzuki and has established several joint ventures in China.

(Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation) - one of the big 3 automakers in China, and has joint ventures Shangai Volkswagen Automotive, Shangai General Motors Corporation and SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile. Also has its own sub-brand Roewe.

(First Automobile Works) - has 27 wholly owned subsidiaries. Among these are Hongqi, Jiefang, Tianjin, Xiali etc. FAW also has partnerships with Toyota and VW in China.

(DFM) - has joint ventures with Nissan, Honda, Kia and PSA. Also owns subsidiaries like Liuzhou Motor and is the second-largest automobile manufacturer in China.

(zxauto) - Hebei Zhongxing Automobile Co. Ltd is a joint venture approved by Chinese government. The export area has covered upto 40 countries and districts.

A subsidiary of Harbin Aircraft Industry (Group) Ltd., has successfully developed more than 100 models of 7 series of small motor vehicles including sedan cars.

Chongqing Lifan is the biggest individually-run motorcycle manufacturer in China. Lifan is new in the Auto industry but may be a very big player in the race of Chinese Auto manufacturers going international.

Hunan Changfeng Group Ltd. (Leibao) is one of the largest light cross-country car manufacturers. By 2007, the annual production will reach 200,000 cars.

(Zhongshun) Polarsun Motor Holdings Ltd. manufactures passenger cars (light buses, MPVs, SUVs) and commercial vehicles. Their new factory is 1 million square meters, which can produce 400,000 vehicles a year.

Since 1988, jeeps, station wagons, police vehicles, fire engines etc. were offered using Toyota technology. Shuanghuan is most known for their SCEO and Noble models and are trying to enter the European market.

Zotye Auto merged with Jiangnan Automobile. It produces the Xplosion,Multipla,Lybra and more. Also markets motor cycles, castings, and other mechanical/electrical products.

VW controls about 17% of the Chinese market, the 2nd largest foreign automaker. VW has two joint ventures in China (FAW & SAIC).

(BAIC) - In 1958 BAW introduced its Jingganghsan sedan soon to be followed by the Beijing CB 4, a V8-engined convertible and limousine. It has JV's with Hyundai, Beijing-Jeep and Mercedez-Benz/DaimlerChrysler.

Shanghai GM is a joint venture between GM and SAIC. The company manufactures and sells Chevrolet, Buick, and Cadillac vehicles and has a 13% market share in China.

A joint venture between the Dongfeng Motor Corporation and the PSA Group. It produces the Citroën Fukang, Xsara, Picasso, Elysée, Peugeot 307, Citroën C-Triomphe and C2.

(GAIG) - Currently, Guangzhou have 112 car, bus and motorcycle Joint Ventures and subsidiaries. Some of its major car JV's are with Honda (Guangzhou-Honda Automobile) and Toyota (Guangzhou-Toyota Motor).

South East (Fujian)Motor aka Soueast, or Dongnan, a 50/50 joint venture between the Fujian Motor and the China Motor Corporation (Mitsubishi Motors) of Taiwan. Its cars are derived from older Mitsubishis.
