I own a 2007 Geely CK 1.3 GS. I have just had my THIRD alternator break on me and I'm hoping someone on this forum knows enough to tell me of a suitable replacement (I'm not putting in another Geely alternator just to have it break again).

I don't know how long the problem has been going on, but after three alternators it may be time to look at the rest of the charging system, wiring, battery, etc..

I've had it at Geely to check, but they keep on telling me that its just the alternator. And now Geely has closed down in my country, so my warranty is also gone, now i have to pay for all my repairs. If i could just keep the alternator from braking, then i would have no problems with the car at all.

check with outside garage. You can probably get one which is compatible. Good luck
