(CAC).
The fuel cell car has passed the examination by national experts. It indicates that China's technology of hydrogen power has reached international level.
Hydrogen fuel cell car is a front subject in international new energy sources area.
It's key technology was monopolized by Ford and Bayerische Motoren WerheAG (BMW).
J&K Technologies Inc., Tsinghua University and Chery Automobile began to develop China's first hydrogen fuel cell car from 2005 and successfully operated in the laboratory of J&K Technologies Inc. in January, 2006.
The experts think that this hydrogen fuel cell car has solved the technology difficulties. It is a vehicle with a speed of 80 kilometers per hour, having no exhaust fumes. Comparing with traditional cars, the cost of engine only increased 10%.
