There are so many truck manufacturers, it is almost silly.

And, if you are disturbed by the lack of difference between the auto brands, you will be shocked to look at the truck lines. A vast majority are very similar, if not identical to each other.

I'm guessing we are talking 1 ton and larger here. If I were to hazard a guess I would say FAW, Dongfeng, Beiqi Foton, and JAC in that order.

How about it truck experts.....who are the key players in this segment of the auto industry?

I really would like to know who will build the 18 wheelers that will haul heavy cargo over the east-west Silk Road Supehighway of tomorrow.

I owned 4 of the Wuzhengs when I was in China. They are superior to all other commercial on/off road trucks China makes. We decided to purchase Wuzhengs in China because of how cost efective an dreliable I was told they are. Turned out to be true.

Cant wait to see them here in states. We have 9 trucks on the road now in US. Can't wait to drop them off after leases run out and get Wuzhengs.

Excellent questions - The quality is good to very good. It is VERY difficult to compare apples to apples here - Is it of the same quality, fit, finish of a $110,000 Mack? Of course it isn't.

The series 5 and Series 7 will both have full EPA / NHTSA certification before January, yes, they are road legal.

Can someone give us a more understandle picture of truck industry.
For example, in 2-3 ton category the key players are ????, in 4-5 ton key players are ???, 8-10 ton key playes ???, 6-wheelers, 12 wheelers.
Also an important information is about their engine technology, for example in the 2-5 ton category 4jb1 isuzu technology and 4d32 nissan technology is widely used.

Can anyone tell me if they know Anchi Automotive Company ltd? their web page is anchiglobal, i am about to buy their pickup truck the z7 which looks a lot like the usa chevy pickup.
