It’s still unclear if FAW are continuing with the Besturn name, or if the cars will fall under the more prestigious Hong Qi (Red Flag) branding, but it seems that the FAW are still working on model building with this B90 that has been spotted out testing.

The Chinese automotive media are convinced that the B90 is based on the latest generation of Mazda 6 (Mazda 6 Rui Yi in China) and follows on from FAW’s use of the last generation Mazda6 platform in the B70 and B50 series of cars.
