Apparently, this werid pickup is under development by Chery. It's called the Karry.

A Zhongxing Grand Tiger with Chery logos?
Chery first light truck model is scheduled to be launched into the market in early 2011. If Chery have a decent diesel engine and a decent transmission to couple with than it would be feasible to make a Pick-Up truck.

Haha,there are so many competitors, and GAC Gonow Auto not only have pickup, and also SUv and mini-van, light truck and also mini-bus.
