This chocolate-coated VW Beetle was situated in front of a supermarket in Qingdao, Shandong Province, in China. It took seven employees and a total of 200 KG (441 lbs for you non-communists) to complete.

I haven't seen the chocolate beetle, but we have a growing number of beetles here in Nanning. As far as price........I'm not 100% sure but I think it's about 250,000rmb now (it USED to be almost 400,000rmb).

Jmsteiny, I think the VW is up against the MINI in the 'too cool for domestic cars' crowd, VW had to get that price down no matter what. Probably a CKD car built up in China now to get around the huge import tax that gets slapped on.
