At Auto World web-site I found a chinese manufacturer which I never had heard before. That's Jiuzhou, from Jiangsu. Just take a look. (http://car-cat.com/firm-996.html)

I have no idea if this carmaker still exists as it seems to me Autoworld isn't updated for a long time. For example, production figures are usually from 2003.

Does anyone have more information about Jiuzhou? And perhaps better pics than this one.

That's an old one! The Jiuzhou SYC1014 was made by a bus company named Shuyang Bus Works, established in Shuyang City, Jiangsu Province. They advertised the cars in 1993. They were powered with a 797cc Jiangling engine. Besides they made Suzuki based minivans and pickups.
I will check if I can find a better photo. (Do you know that photos which are kept on CD-rom deteriorate?)

No, it is not me,but my archive, which I think is priceless for the history of the Chinese automobile.
Except for the Jiuzhou there were about 50 makes producing these little motor cars, especially in the first years of the 1990s.
