I know red is the color of the Chinese. But I feel it hurts my eyes, and it's not consistent with the other parts of the forum, like post background and buttons. A little bit, unprofessional. Red is good, as long as it's not too bright, and doesn't make a sharp contrast.

I'm not familiar with vBulletin, but I figure you could choose style or template.
Now the situation is that, the background is red, but the buttons (gif) are blue, like the "New Thread", "Post Reply", "edit" button. And the forum body is designed to fit blue background.

If there is no way to find a forum template in red, I guess the last resort is to change it back to blue. Just my 2 cents. The color is not really a big deal.
