Looks like its based onto the previous generation Mazda MX5/Miata platform judging by the shape, size and proportions.

This is a concept car, shown at the Beijing Motor Show of 2004. The car was bought from the German Keinath company, who introduced this cabriolet as Keinath GT/CC at the 2002 Geneva Autoshow.

Sweet looking car! I hope that they don't lose the plot when they go to production.
This might be the first decent looking car from here. I hope they use good suspension geometry too.

The Chang'an Chinese Dragon was equipped with a 3.2-litre V8, length 4280 mm, width 1840 mm, height 1230 mm, empty weight 1320 kg, maximum speed 248 km/h, fuel consumption 8.2- 8.8 litre/ 100 km. Note that the car was bought from the Keinath company to draw attention to the Chang'an stand on the Beijing 2004 Auto Show. There are no plans at all to produce the car. Chang'an shows every year one or two concepts on this basis.

Hi!
EDAG, a Germany research and engineering company works for Chang'an and it was EDAG, who built the GT/C for Keinath in 2002. As Keinath went bust, EDAG got its prototype back and offered it to Chang'an later on
