Does anyone know of a 6 speed manual transaxle made in China? Any Chinese vehicles that have a 6 speed? Or any manufacturers or JVs making them in China?

I would guess that there are some six speed manuals on the way from the chinese brands, but not sure if they are there yet.

But I don't expect any would be transaxles, only transmissions for FWD transverse engine installations.

By transaxle I presume you mean something with an in line engine installation but outputs through a pair of half shafts (e.g. for an inline front drive as favoured by VW or for a mid engined or rear engined setup).
