Fourth generation of Suzuki Swift had its debut at the Paris Auto Salon in September 2004. This Swift is intended to compete in the European B segment. Available with 1.3 and 1.5 litre petrol engines, the new Swift is Suzuki's new "global car", to be produced in Hungary, India, Japan and by Chang'an in China. 3- and 5-door bodies are available.

I like those funky gas pedals! This new Suzuki Swift Limited Edition would be a cool car to have as well as their crossover SX4. The SX Sport sedan(SX4 in a sedan form)also looks appealing. Remember, Suzuki is not some upstart in the small car making field. They have been leader's in Japan's kei-car race for years upon years.

How many do they sell each year? in NZ, the Suzuki Swift is third best selling model. Can some one tell me what model rage the Swift has because we get baseline 1.3 litre models, higher spec 1.6 litre models, the Sport model and the new European spec SR4 models as well.

Whilst the rest of the world is getting the generation of Suzuki Swift, it seems that Chang’an Suzuki have decided there is plenty more milage left in the current China built Suzuki Swift and have thus given it a face lift for 2011.

The belove Swift continues to have its handsome stance that has helped it become one of the best selling small cars in the Chinese market, the interior has also been updated with two tone leather seats and an improved stereo system, that this time allows for SD card access. Pricing is expected to stay in the similar 60,000rmb to 100,000rmb that has so far become a sweet spot for joint venture produced cars.
