The Toyota Mark X is a mid-size automobile created by Toyota for the Japanese market. The Mark X was introduced in 2004 and is manufactured in Kanegasaki, Iwate, Japan. Also sold in China as the Toyota Reiz, it is available with either a 3.0 L or 2.5 L Toyota GR series V6 engine. The engines offer dual VVT-i (variable valve timing) with gasoline direct injection. The rear-wheel drive models have a 6-speed automatic transmission as standard, and the all-wheel drive models have a 5-speed automatic.

i never heard of this and wonder if it will come in North America market!

I like the style of this car. To me it is what the BMW 5 series should have been. A well rounded finished design not the rubbish styling (my view and I am sticking to it) we got.
Is this car only available in China and Japan? If so i think Toyota has missed an oportunity.

From CCT - The Toyota Reiz has proven to be a popular choice to the ever well selling Toyota Camry in China. The Camry is the front wheel drive stable sedan, where as the Reiz is the rear wheel drive power house that the salary man with an automotive heart chooses to buy. The Reiz was first introduced into China in 2007, and has sold fairly well for its manufacturer, Toyota-FAW. The Reiz has been due a facelift for quite some time, and the latest version that has been spotted out testing, brings the Reiz in line with the Japanese second generation Reiz.

The new Reiz will still be a RWD powerhouse with engine powers coming from a 2.5 V6 producing 197bhp and a 3.0V6 which is probably sourced from the FAW-Toyota made Crown, which sends 227bhp through the back wheels.
