Now, I know this is a forum about Chinese cars and such, but since there are forums on buses, motorcycles and trucks, I thought why not construction equipment, like excavators, dump trucks etc. I've put this forward because not long after New Zealand signed a free trade deal with China, which is the first deal between China and a developed country I might add, I saw a Shanghai-Volvo front loader. I think this new forum, should it go ahead, could be about everything to do with construction equipment and foreign ventures as well as joint ventures in China itself.

I am sorry are you selling excavators or are you a manufacturer? Seems New Zealand dosen't have that kind of heavy industry yet.

Actually, I was just curious. No I don't sell excavators or manufacture them but I am interested in Chinese plans for New Zealand. It seems we are a growing market for Chinese commercial vehicles here which is a nice difference over Japanese imports.

Seems I misunderstand you in the begining... You are right, definitely, more and more Chinese equipments will head into New Zealand.
