The Perla is a Siena/Albea derived car. Code named "311", this new Fiat 'll share the market with the current Siena sold in China since 2004. This new Perla is a mix between a new front and rear design, with a front headlights and grille based in the My2006 Doblo and a rear design with hints to the brazilian and turkish Marea based in the Lancia Lybra.

The center design is the same from the current chinese Siena; the Mk.II version of the sedan 178 proyect, and the interior is the Mk.III design created by Fiat Brasil for the Siena in 2004.

It only has a 1.7L turbo diesel engine with indirect inyection Euro III with 70bhp a c510 manual gearbox (maybe a Speedgear auto/sequencial in 2007; the same from Siena).

Maybe because the petrol/gasoline was covered by the Siena. It has two engines: 1.5 MPI 8 valve and a 1.2 16v FIRE with 82bhp.

I prefer the Current Sienna/Palio/Albea Mk3 ( Palio 2 )

There seems also to be a 1461 cc petrol engine version (the old and famous Seat-Porsche engine, Chinese code NJG415).
