Either those aren't the actual exhausts (meaning the real one is underneath somewhere) or it's a show car. The inside of the pipe would be covered in soot within a few miles.

Also has those fake trims put in to make a drum brake look like a disc.

i think they should either stick a actual grill on it, or just not put a grill on.

Nice photos Raul.... but I must say I'm not impressed with the design.

Somehow it's still got a fragile look to it. It doesn't have that beefy look that shouts out raw power and awesome handling. But I guess it's in good company since in my view Toyota's Celica and Hyundai's Tiburon have the same fragile appearance.

Looks like they put the back end in a vise until it became taller and narrower....making it look unstable.

That's one man's opinion. Anyway here's a photo of the MG SF that I find more to my liking........

The headlight are really big, the part between the headlights is the worst part of the design, taillights look cool, strange exhausts. It's another try, wrong again, but one day they'll get it right. Cheap sportcars from China for everyone...

Wow, it has better fc than Civic 1.8 ltr ivtec.... (6.9M,7.2A/100km,103kw,174Nm). what is the weight of this car? This car reminds me Hyundai "scoupe?(Coupe in oversea)" in the mid 90s. Hyundai claimed it's a sports car despite it was just coupe version of small car in the reality..... well, it was the start point for hyundai at least and they produce the tiburon (I still don't feel like it's a real sports car. May be the one,which will be released in 2008, with RWD is the real one)

... an hobbyist photoshopper like me !! just with a few clicks of a mouse and the car looks ( personaly ) alot much better ! and I didnt change Major stuff !! only something like a BODYKIT , bigger wheels , and a Modified front grille and logo !! I dont think what i've done can cost more than $1000 or so !! but the car looks SELL-ABLE atleast !

Geely to replace Meirenbao with a new sport car.

February 18, 2008 - Geely Automobile has halted the production of its Merirenbao sport car and may introduce a new 2.0 L sport car, Cheshi.com. reported.

Geely displayed a new sport car called Zhongguolong (Chinese Dragon in Chinese) at Shanghai auto show last year which is widely considered to be a replacement for the Merirenbao auto transmission sport car.

The automaker sold only 1,561 Merirenbao units last year, with no more than 200 units being sold per month. Currently only Merirenbao manual transmission 1.5 L is available on the market.

Geely announced earlier last month that it will add five new models a year, including sedans before 2010 and will also raise its annual production capacity in China to 1.7 million vehicles by 2015.

its a long and sad story...in 1961 the President tells engineers to produce a %100 Turkish Made car...the most of the engineers were Goverment Railway Factories engineers...and they had to design and produce it in 129days to Republic greetings...they did it! they have designed and produce 2cars in 129day in 1961 at railway factories of goverment...but at republic greetings something happened...the president choose the one which has no fuel in tank for security :nono: and it had stopped at ceramony that made president to cancel all project :nono:

Cars like this fascinate me. It's now I guess little more than a historical oddity, but still a fascinating story. I've been looking around the Net more and found more about it. The best part is that it was a totally local effort. Even the Anadol was initially a British design.

Hint of Mark 2 Zephyr in there as well Mehmet. I do look at it and wonder what may have been.
