According to carnewschina.com it is indeed a JAC. Jianghuai obviously took over further development of the car. Again according to carnewschina it will go on sale later this year for a price of app. 200.000 RMB. Coupe is a rear-wheel drive, powered by 2.4l engine and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Its like a Ferrari got down and dirty with an RX8. Not unlike Hyundai's Coupe/Tiburon of the early 2000s. Its derivative and I like it.

Quite a nice car in my opinion. But wonder if it will have a real chance on market. As far I remember present and former chinese sports cars always tended to be small sellers (BYD S8, Geely Beauty Leopard, Geely China Dragon and others). Perhaps JAC's intention isn't exactly commercial success but a way to boost their image.
