Re: Saab in China
what about the koenigsegg?no deal?

Re: Saab in China
I expect Koenigsegg will do the right thing and keep Saab Swedish, in other words buy Saab. That way, they could actually make a profit rather then run at a loss as they have been doing in past years.

As The Experssion Goes - Who's A Pretty Boy?
Ill tell you who the pretty boy is, thats the new kid on the block and hez looking pretty swish. http://www.easycarblog.com/wp-conten...aab-9-5-25.jpg Front end styling is oh so Saab and very modern looking: http://www.easycarblog.com/wp-conten...saab-9-5-8.jpg The car is simply huge! Check out the following exterior pics: http://www.easycarblog.com/wp-conten...saab-9-5-4.jpg http://www.easycarblog.com/wp-conten...saab-9-5-3.jpg More next post . . . . . . . . |

Interior styling has definatly improved however it seems that the quirky Saab touch is dissapearing from the flagship sedan: http://www.easycarblog.com/wp-conten...aab-9-5-24.jpg http://www.easycarblog.com/wp-conten...aab-9-5-16.jpg The steering wheel and gear shifter from the insignia is just the start, take a look at the centre console, the seats and the door panneling! The quirky but somewhat useless 9-5 'butterfly' cupholder is gone as to have the Saab 2000 inspired 'fasten seat belt' warning light. With those things aside, the 9-5 is definatly up with the big boys, finally offering technology worthy of a press release! http://www.easycarblog.com/wp-conten...aab-9-5-21.jpg More next post . . . . . |

Perhaps one of my favourite features of the new 9-5 is this: http://www.easycarblog.com/wp-conten...aab-9-5-22.jpg We say good bye to the tacky 90's looking key idea and move into the twentyfirst century with push button start: http://www.easycarblog.com/wp-conten...aab-9-5-20.jpg The 9-5 has sadly lost its griffen badging on the interior and rear of the car: http://www.easycarblog.com/wp-conten...aab-9-5-12.jpg More next post . . . . . |

Re: Saab in China
It looks good, much better than the tacky model before, But what is with the lines around the instrument cluster? they dont match the steering wheel, nor the fishnet aircondition blowerthingys in any way.
That's my ony niggle. Otherwise, AWESOME JOB SAAB! |

The New 9-5 - Photos Just Keep On Coming!
Hi KiwiGuy, Im glad you like the new 9-5! Please keep in mind that the interior is the base model fitted with optional extras. Exciting news is that Saab's new 9-5 is up with the competition! Look closely at the top of the dash: http://www.saabsunited.com/upload/im...08_big_481.jpg Im loving the big screen, although like the old 9-5, it may only be availible in the big markets. It seems that this car is fitted with the optional cargo seperator: http://www.saabsunited.com/upload/im...11_big_481.jpg The new 9-5 features an all new 9-5 badge, note how the 9 is more squared: http://www.saabsunited.com/upload/im...19_big_481.jpg more next post! . . . . . |
Re: Saab in China
A better look at the big screen:
http://www.saabsunited.com/upload/im...10_big_481.jpg Up close of that GM sourced shifter! http://www.saabsunited.com/upload/im...07_big_481.jpg This car is very attractive from the outside but I cannot help but feel that this car was designed with little funds availible and were told to take what they could from the insignia. It will reflect badly in the reviews. http://www.saabsunited.com/upload/im...03_big_481.jpg |
