I expect Koenigsegg will do the right thing and keep Saab Swedish, in other words buy Saab. That way, they could actually make a profit rather then run at a loss as they have been doing in past years.

Interior styling has definatly improved however it seems that the quirky Saab touch is dissapearing from the flagship sedan:

The steering wheel and gear shifter from the insignia is just the start, take a look at the centre console, the seats and the door panneling! The quirky but somewhat useless 9-5 'butterfly' cupholder is gone as to have the Saab 2000 inspired 'fasten seat belt' warning light.

With those things aside, the 9-5 is definatly up with the big boys, finally offering technology worthy of a press release!

It looks good, much better than the tacky model before, But what is with the lines around the instrument cluster? they dont match the steering wheel, nor the fishnet aircondition blowerthingys in any way.
That's my ony niggle. Otherwise, AWESOME JOB SAAB!:clap:

Hi KiwiGuy, Im glad you like the new 9-5! Please keep in mind that the interior is the base model fitted with optional extras.

Exciting news is that Saab's new 9-5 is up with the competition! Look closely at the top of the dash:

Im loving the big screen, although like the old 9-5, it may only be availible in the big markets.

This car is very attractive from the outside but I cannot help but feel that this car was designed with little funds availible and were told to take what they could from the insignia. It will reflect badly in the reviews.
