New brand TRAUM (Junma)
Anhui Zotye has set up a new company, Chongqing Junma New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. that will introduce a new brand of electric vehicles, Junma (君马). The brand launch is to take place on the coming 27th. As can be expected these days, SUVs would spearhead the new brand's attack.
http://www.sohu.com/a/149713222_394874 The Zotye group (excluding Hanteng) has just completed its 8th plant that is situated in Chongqing. The company has far more capacity at its disposal compared to the number of vehicles it sells annually (less than 350,000 last year), so the latest plant might be put to good use. |

Wait...Zoyte owns Hanteng?

Hanteng
Zotye's ultimate parent, the Tech-New (Tieniu) Group, owns Hanteng.
You will find mentions of Hanteng's indirect relationship with Zotye in a few posts on the initial Hanteng thread. Also please see this post. |

Plans include hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric. Possibly non-hybrid ICE vehicles too will be launched. Two SUVs will appear this year with seven more models to follow in the next two years. A so-called super-platform, dubbed "TMA", will underpin these vehicles. http://auto.tom.com/news/storys_111046.html http://www.autohome.com.cn/news/201706/903986.html Sketches: http://www.autohome.com.cn/news/201706/903994.html |

Re: New brand TRAUM (Junma)
Good to see, as the Chinese customer currently has so few SUV choices available to him. There's probably only a hundred or so to choose from.
