Text on the truck really looks like Taepaeksan. But it is definitely not a Kamaz, or any of the Chinese trucks assembled in the DPRK. Who knows??

Kim Jong Un visited the Sungri Motor Plant (photos) and "watched new style five-ton trucks produced by the complex", which appear to be Sinotruk Howo L2s.

There's another article with more photos at KCNA but that website prevents direct linking to individual articles.

Part of the Sungri factory is now in use by a Chinese-Korean joint venture named Tokchon Auto Joint Venture Co. Ltd. At the Pyongyang Fair the whole production program/plans were shown, starting from 3 ton trucks, via 5 ton, 8 ton, 10 ton, to 20, 30 ton. This article confirms that the production has started with the 5 ton truck. The trucks bear the name Sungri. From the air it is clear that part of the factory complex is now painted blue, and that factory halls are restored. It seems like a new start.
Would love to see this "Sungrisan Revolutionary Museum"!

Kim Jong Un has visited the Pyongyang Trolley Bus Factory and admired a new model of trolleybus, similar to the Chollima 091 but not articulated. Since we are now in Juche year 107, I would guess that the model name is Chollima 107.

EDIT: Apparently the model name is Chollima 316.

P.S. North Korean Leadership Watch blogpost on the visit.

The February issue of the North Korean propaganda magazine Korea has a short article with photos about the trolleybus factory. The article claims that the factory has also developed battery electric buses.

PDF from KCNAwatch, which monitors official North Korean news sources. The article is on printed pages 30 and 31, which are together page 17 of the PDF file.

Kim Jong Un went for a ride on a new trolleybus. It had padded vinyl (?) seats instead of the hard plastic seats seen in previous photos.

On the previous photos I already had the impression that he was not happy with the hard seats they used in the bus. He is on a guiding tour, so he has to say something, you see them all writing in their small block notes. I am not surprised to see these new seats a couple of days later.
