Visually, the difference arises because of the wider wheel arches and the running board, compared to what we have seen in these pages. That means adding merely 4.25 cm to each side or less than two inches.

P.S.: F/R track is 1620/1620 mm for the updated model against 1540/1550 mm earlier. The new track and width are also applicable to the 2.3 L version. You are right that the axles have been widened.

SVOS S80 (export BJ80)

SVOS Automotive, an armored car specialist in the Czech Republic (or Czechia, if you wish), imported and displayed the S80 at IDET Defence Expo in 2017. Also, I have come across a brochure cover that shows the civilian BJ80 as well as three versions of the CTL151 on offer. However, I have no idea whether SVOS managed to receive any orders or supply the vehicle afterwards.

Czech army prepares big contract for replacing old Land Rovers and UAZs by new 4x4 vehicles. SVOS wants go to the bussiness with this model.
When I saw it on own eyes it was big surprises for me and I really like this car. It looks very good. It could be good alternative to Defender as 4x4 for professionals.
