Grupo Iraola, the industrial group settled in Venado Tuerto, famous for the assembly of Chinese motorbikes and car cushions under the brand "Corven", will start to import Foton trucks (the Aumark S), passenger vehicles (the brand was Chinese, but no data of what brand it is) and electric buses of Zhongtong and King Long. The vehicle import division will be called "CVN Motors".

Iran produced 1.44 million passenger cars in 2017-18 (A.P. 1396), of which over 223,000 were Chinese models assembled locally. Also, about 60% of the number of models produced in the country were of Chinese origin. I suppose one can safely say that Iran is the largest producer of Chinese cars outside China.

After the incontrollable dollar price rising, car brands in Argentina are getting nervous. The Chinese (and imported) cars will suffer the consequences of today's Lebac's expiring too.

Here's an interesting article about Ateco's efforts to couple SAIC's MG and LDV, at the Australian dealership level.

Iran produced 892,000 passenger cars and 51,000 pickups in 2018-19 (A.P. 1397), of which over 168,000 (18%) were Chinese models assembled locally. Also, over 55% of the number of models produced in the country were of Chinese origin.
