I hope production version will get more 'normal' name. According to above article, Kawei is also developing another SUV (which looks almost the same as JiangLing S350) and an MPV (a copy of Dongfeng Shuai).

D Mitra, I doubt that the 'Hummer' is made by Kawei. The logos are different.

I am not for 100% certain but these cars look like they are sold as MEV Hummers in Western Europe and the US. See www.myelectricvehicle.org.

Very interesting find, Erik. Looks like Kawei or one of their subsidiaries could be a contract manufacturer. No idea though on who is making the Daytona "mini hot rod" but that also seems a converted golf cart.
