Default Roewe W5 SUV

From China Car Times:
Quote:
We saw these shots today, and can only think that the Ssangyonng Rexton SUV is being rebranded for the Chinese market as a Roewe SUV. Note the usual Ricardo funky checkered pattern covering the body.

Roewe SUV was found on the road test in Hainian island some days before.
It's reported that by 2010 SAIC will release 30 new models based on 5 different platforms. This SUV model is the first one in the plan.

So what happening with Ssangyong , they dont get benefit in the R&D actually? I think Saic is concentrating efforts in new models under Roewe brand only.
