Dayun CGC6450
Rebadged version of 737 under Dayun brand, approved by NDRC.
Years ago, around 2010, another vehicle similar to Jonway A380 was approved as CGC6450 but did not make it to the market. According to Dayun Auto's website, Dayun is involved in a "strategic cooperation" with Weichai Engine, where the latter is a principal powertrain supplier for Dayun's trucks.

And so from what I have read here, Weichai and Dayun are only connected by way of Weichai's role as a source for for Dayun's engine needs.
By the way, that big star logo looks a lot like Jianghuai's (JAC) logo. I guess tolerance of intellectual property borrowing is the still the norm in China. |
