H530 launched and priced:

Quote:
On August 29th, Brilliance Auto unveiled the pricing and configuration options of the Zhonghua H530 midsize sedan. The nine versions, with a 1.6L or turbo 1.5L engine, are priced between 79,800 Yuan (for the 1.6 MT Standard) and 125,800 Yuan (for the 1.5T AT Intelligent), although currently only four of the nine are available at dealerships, all powered by a 1.6-liter.

The car was designed by Brilliance and Italy’s Pininfarina. In size, the H530, with a 2700 wheelbase and 4708mm body-length, fits between Brilliance M2 and FRV. While marketed as a midsize, it actually shares with the FRV Brilliance’s A-class car platform (the M2 is built on the B-class car platform). According to some, the H530 will eventually replace the M2, the sales of which have been diminishing.

The 1.6L engine (4A92S) comes from a local Mitsubishi plant. It develops 87kW of power at 5600-6000rpm and 151Nm of torque at 4000rpm. The turbo-charged 1.5-liter, which is to serve the H530 later, is built by Brilliance Auto and rated 100kW/5500rpm and 200Nm/2200-4500rpm. A 5MT and 5AT is offered for both engines.

I actually like the exterior design of the H530, although the front isn't the most appealing part of it. It's a shame the interior is so blingbling, because there is nothing wrong with the design of it. The prices are also very neat, way below the Roewe 350 for example.
