where does soyat get the supplies to make an automobile anyway??? Do they make it themselves? Are there any companies in china that can supply kits for the assembly of a car??

On the site 'made-in-china.com' I found this quite nice Soyat Mini Van. I assume it's based on old Daihatsu or Suzuki.





Does anyone have any info about this vehicle? Is it still in production? The van is not mentioned anywhere on Soyat's official Internet site.

I read elsewhere that with the dissolution of the NAC/Fiat alliance that NAC could still produce its Fiat models with a different badge. Could these models (Perla, etc.) end up as Soyats or Austins (or both depending on market)?

Last I heard SAIC was going to purchase the factory for production of SAIC vehicles but that was months ago, not sure what the current situation is...
