well...i open this thread to look your country numberplate...i think it's an interesting theme

this is the old chilean numberplate in a chevrolet (opel) vectra


and this is the new in a peugeot 207

Slovenian licence plates.

First ones with border line in Slovenian green:


EU plates introduced with Slovenian entry to European Union. Border line became black:


Most people were critical of second type plates. They missed green colour and found new font type (similar to that on German plates) much uglier.
This is the reason why the government decided to bring back green and old font:

this is the best way to show the chilean licese plates



White-black(BX-XX-NN): private and commercial cars
Orange-Black(PR-XXX): provisional
black-white(RP-XXXX/Z-XXXX): police cars
orange-black (four letters): taxi
blue-white(CD-XXXX): politicians and diplomatic spheres
yellow-black: taxis
white-green: public trasportation system
white-red(XXX-NNN): trailers
orange-white: tourism taxis
white-blac (JX-NN-NN format): lorries
red-white: duty free zones (Iquique and Punta Arenas)

Almost the same.First they were black background with white font.Later they were Yellow with black font and now they are almost the same as the new slovenian with the EU flag on them.Just ours are someting like-P1111CK or something like that.Or if you are leading a criminal activiti someting like P666666

I have seen many type of number plates but it's quite different from other country's number plates.

In Poland we have system connected with teritorial division (voivodships and districts - województwa i powiaty). Eg. plates which begin with Letter "E" are from Lodz voivodship (województwo łódzkie), "ERA" - Radomsko district (powiat radomszczański).
