Geely Binyue SUV (SX11) and Proton X50

Geely is preparing a new SUV of the B-segment.
It has the BMA platform (B-segment modular architecture), used by Lynk&Co and Volvo.
Engines are: 1.5 turbo, 1.8 turbo and an hybrid (they haven't confirmed the engine output).

Any idea who's responsible for body design? Is this some chinese Bertone or some designer imported from Europe?

The exterior of the SX11 is made in the corporate style of the Chinese brand, for which Peter Horbury, who previously worked in Volvo, is responsible. The length of the ІГМ (sic) is 4,330 mm, the width is 1,800 mm, the height is 1,609 mm, the wheelbase is 2,600 mm in size. The cross Volvo XC40 is larger: 4 425/1 863/1 910 mm, the distance between the axles is 2,702 mm.

Patent Office of China registered design of future crossover of the company Geely, which now is known only by its factory index SX11. The appearance and the interior of the model are the work of former chief designer at Volvo - Peter Horbury, who now works for Geely.

However, this is not a surprise because the Chinese corporation owns Volvo. Moreover, future SUV-model is built on a completely new platform developed by both carmakers.

The design of the product that has received a preliminary index SX11, was developed under the leadership of Peter Horbury, previously worked at Volvo. Crossover got a brand new grille, led optics, a panoramic sunroof and a rear spoiler. The dimensions of the vehicle are 4330х1800х1609 millimeters in length in wheelbase of 2.6 meters.
