Try not to hotlink images from a website that is not an image repository. Often these are replaced soon by website "logo" type images by the concerned website, and the post loses its usefulness.

If one has no access to a repository, the images one wants to put up can be uploaded as attachments to the post and then linked internally using the [IMG] tag.

How do I link to an attached image? In other words, what's the "url" to put between the img-tags?

After attaching an image, the "name" of the image appears as a link, and you can copy that link as your "URL", or click it to open the attachment in a new tab and copy the URL from the browser's address bar.




For this forum, it will look something like "https://www.chinacarforums.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=xxxxx&stc=x&d=xxxxxxx"

I have attached a picture below named "Sample_1.jpg". The URL in this case is:

https://www.chinacarforums.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=51413&stc=1&d=1594023111

Paste that within [IMG] tags and you're done! Note that the thumbnail of the attachment will be visible too down below.



P.S.: Note that you can attach up to five images with a post, but this forum only allows four inline images in a post, so one will have to be left out (but still visible as thumbnail).

We thought that the Sihao (SOL) brand, as seen on the E20X, was exclusive to the JAC-VW joint venture products. Now I guess not.

New approval reveals X8 to be 2 cm longer (in overall length and wheelbase) than what was published in June, then also by MIIT. The above metrics have gone up from 4795 mm and 2810 mm to 4815 mm and 2830 mm in the current instance.
