Jiangling JML1021/JML5021 "Qiling" pickup. [Edit: NDRC code for JMCGL was changed to JML from FQ in Notice#257]
Produced by Jiangxi Jiangling Light Vehicle Factory, which is the former Jiangxi Huaxiang Fuqi plant, and based on the 1st-generation Isuzu D-MAX/Chevrolet Colorado (Thai). Production started October 6 of last year. Jiangxi Isuzu D-MAX (2nd generation)
Jiangxi Isuzu Motors Co. is a new joint venture established in 2012 between Isuzu of Japan and Jiangling Motors Group after the expiry of their first JV formed in 1993 for making trucks. The new JV will be devoted to making pickups and derivatives thereof. Another JV will be responsible for making engines. (Press release)
