The 2010 Brilliance BMW 5-Series Li was launched on August 5 with prices ranging from 489,600 yuan to 791,600 yuan.
The 2010 model is the 6th generation of the BMW 5-Series and was introduced to overseas markets at the end of last year. The model, with its elegance was first displayed at the Beijing Auto Show in April. Its frontal and headlights adopt a brand new design (likens to imported 5-Series); rear doors are longer, and its body resembles that of the 7-Series. The new interior design is more 7-Series-styled, especially the central control and dashboard. Similarities in sensation with the GT models is also another characteristic of the 5-Series Li. Six cylinders in line provides all the power for the model. BMW's new engine N55 is equipped in the 535 Li, providing 306 hp power and 400 Nm torque; the 528i has a 258 hp power, 310 Nm torque and a 3.0L engine under the hood; and the 523i has a 204 hp, 250Nm and 2.5L one. The most striking feature is its wheelbase, which extends from 2,968 mm to 3,108 mm. Last but not least, the model is even equipped with the KIRS system-same of F1 cars. 2011 BMW 5 series LWB
In reference to the statement about BMW designs, I saw a new 5 series on the road today. Looks okay, but still not nearly as nice as the old 5 IMO. Not as bad as the 7, but Im not a fan
