This is a seachange for the Chang'he automaker, which had a near death experience under Chang'an Auto. BAIC came to the rescue, reviving the troubled company, and now is the apparent donor of this not bad looking conventional sedan that will change the image of Chang'he as producer of Suzuki knockoffs. Parent BAIC, now with a wide offering of sedans, has also made a marked departure from its early reputation, as jeep maker.
