New model based on Bora?
Bid invitation and results of the winning bid (for assembly-line tooling) indicate a new model based on the Bora is going to be manufactured at the Changchun plant of FAW-VW. The vehicle is codenamed VW321/5CN and could be a derivative/facelift of the 2016 Bora (VW321/2CN) . Note the term "technical transformation project" in the tender notice, which usually suggests a new model going into production.
The 2016 Bora is still being made in good numbers, albeit reduced from earlier, after the launch of the all-new Bora. The all-new Bora is made in Qingdao.
