Line-off:

China is the third* country, after the USA and South Africa, where the new X3 is being manufactured. Contrary to prior speculations, the Chinese X3 (G08) is not a stretched version of the international version (G01); however, the different program code suggests market-specific changes for China have been made to the CLAR platform underneath. The G08 is 13 mm taller though.
