First of all, the Paultan article you referred to mentions the new Versa/Sunny/Almera (L02D) which has just gone into production in Mexico. It sits on the Nissan V platform.

Second, Nissan's (or Alliance) V platform is not synonymous with any CMF platform. The V platform is 'versatile' enough, meaning several different types of cars can be developed on it. It is an evolution of the Nissan/Alliance B platform. It is not of a modular architecture (a broader concept than platform), which the Common Module Family of platforms is. Work on the V platform started around 2005 and the first car was most probably the Nissan March/Micra K13 (B02A/G02A) dating from 2010. The French-made Micra K14 (B02E) also sits on the V platform.

Some technology/ideas/concepts from the V platform were adopted when the Common Module Family was being developed. Meanwhile the V platform itself has been worked upon and improved with time, especially in the second half of this decade. This is probably the reason for the confusion between the V platform and CMF-B platform (B is the implementation of the CMF for B-segment cars). The CMF is intended to eventually replace previous "Alliance" platforms.

Coming to your question: the first CMF car, as claimed by RNMA, is the current Nissan X-Trail/Rogue T32 (P32R), which uses the CMF C/D platform. This was unveiled in 2013. The current Megane (BFB/KFB/LFF) is based on the CMF C/D platform, and the subject of this thread, the new Sylphy/Sentra (L21B) also sits on the CMF C/D, so they are indeed related.

The first cars to use CMF-B are the new Clio Mk V (BJA) and the new 'small' Captur II (HJB/HJE).

Yulon Nissan Sentra (Taiwan)

The new Sentra is scheduled to be launched in early October, with pre-sale activities beginning already. The domestically produced car will be offered in three variants, powered by a naturally aspirated 1.6L/138 PS engine mated to a CVT (like DFL's Sylphy). Taiwan is the third territory, after P.R. China and Mexico, where the new Sylphy/Sentra is being built.
