The third-gen. H6 and DaGou (B06) are based on an all-new platform for unibody vehicles, designated B30. Two other products on this platform, codenamed B03 and B04, are under development.

There will be two offshoots of this platform, designated A30 and C30, for compact (4.3-4.5 m) and larger, premium (4.7-5.0 m) vehicles. B30 will obviously cover the 4.5-4.7 m segment.

According to current information, next-generation Wey vehicles are codenamed V51, V61, and V71. I do not know definitely which platforms they will utilize, but B30/C30 are possibilities. The current Wey SUVs are based on the CHB platform, shared with the big unibody Havals.

Newer pickups and BOF SUVs, oriented more towards off-road use, are going to be based on the P71 platform (originally known as P platform). One of these, Pao (P3011/P3012), is already out. Three other products are under development, codenamed P01, P02 and P03. The first two are very likely SUVs. P01 may become a future "Wey VV9" (assumed name) and P02 a possible H9 successor. The P71 and C30 platforms will replace the long-running K (BOF) and CHK (unibody) platforms.

Third-generation H6 launched:

The mildly refreshed second-generation H6 went on sale just three weeks ago. However, Haval has still not gotten rid of the first-generation H6 ("Sport") despite the existence of the rather similar M6, in addition to the H6 Coupe (thankfully this one is down to one generation only).
