According to Edmunds.com :
"Nanjing Automobile plans to send the first locally built MG TF roadster down the assembly line at its hometown plant next March 27 — the 60th anniversary of the Chinese automaker."

Although the company was established in 1947 it's first light truck did not come offline until March 10, 1958. Other names associated with the automaker are: Yuejin (Great Leap), Guerin Auto, Nanqi, and Nanya.

At this time there's no doubt in my mind that some young Chinese engineers, and other Nanqi staffers, are having the experience of their lives as they encounter their British colleagues on a day to day basis in England. It must be an awesome cross-cultural experience for them. They are indeed under a lot of pressure so let's wish them luck.
