it had some wicked fight scenes

the best fights were in the tournament at the beginning of the movie...excluding the the last fight
not bad, since everyone in the movie actually has martial arts experience. unlike aaahummm the matrix and dare devil.
I saw it. I liked the movie, had a lot of amazing scenes. but I didn't like the ending. it was historically inaccurate. But otherwise, it was a good movie.

i saw clips of it..whys it historically wrong?
Huo was not killed in the ring. He was killed during a banquet with the Japanese, this was after he defeated ten members of the Japanese Judo team. Also, the Japanese did not act so gentlemanly as they did in the movie.
well you see even though the chinese dont really like the japanese alot, they still need to pay some respect to them today. therefore they just made that one japanese guy look like shit. and even though it was not historicly correct i think this is one of the best ending i ever seen in a martial arts movie. it really shows the spirit of chinese martial arts, most of the other martial arts movie is just about good guy beating up the bad guy, martial arts is not all about fighting, winning, and pride, maby thats why you almost never see chinese martial arts in ufc or somethin. yea but ppl who are ufc fans, or boxing fans etc etc may think im just bullshitting, but i think fearless is really worth watching. :thumb:
Sounds like in the name of money making, they don't want to "offend" the Japanese viewers by making the movie "real" - Japan is a huge market for movie revenues afterall... $$$

I say rename the movie Balless... :nono:
I haven't seen it yet. But as I understand it, it is perfectly acceptable in, ahem, certain places in Asia, to rewrite history somewhat? Can't think of any specific examples obviously.
