That article is crap.

He has five designs in the works, including a retractable hardtop roadster that wowed critics at the Shanghai Motor Show this year
Firstly the Shanghai Motor Show was not "this year" it was last year (2005).

...and a crossover SUV that's already in production. Yet by Bricklin's own admission, the SUV "can't give us the five-star ratings we wanted...
The V5 Crossover is not an SUV, (Sport Utility Vehicle). The US is supposed to recieve the Crossover and an all new SUV among other vehicles. They will not be the same. The writer has just confused himself and the readers who are reading this article.

So according to this report, the earliest date a Chery could enter the US market is the end of 2008. But I really don't expect to see a Chery until 2010 at the earliest, then it will be laughed at on the streets....
Well aren't you the ultimate authority on everything? 2010 you say? Seeing as you know everything I will just have to take your word on it. Ooh and you think they will be laughed at? No one cares about your opinions... either post facts or get lost smartass.
