Re: Brilliance's new sportcar - BC3 (M3)

The car is already advertised on website of Italian partner of Brilliance:
http://www.brilliance-auto.it/main/bc3.asp

But according to their own notice it is not on sale yet.
Please note that the BC3 is a prototype that is not yet available in Germany. For this reason, the manufacturer is not able to make binding statements concerning CO2 emissions or fuel consumption.

Re: Brilliance's new sportcar - BC3 (M3)

I am very eager to see what this car is actually like.
The engine is in fact the least likely piece to fault.
More suspect are suspension geometry, center of gravity and front-rear balance.

The rest is all in the quality of materials used. If they used good quality in the build or engine internals I can't wait to turn up the boost a bit. :)

The BC3 lines looks a lot like Nissan Altima coupe. The interior is kind of ugly. China's auto industry has come a long ways though, but it still bothers me that they have to copy other automaker's designs.

Brilliance 1.8T GT Coupe

There are several companies in China that boast of their ’sports models’ in their line ups, however, these are mostly sports looking but dont really have the sports credibility especially when they are sporting Mitsubishi engines that were obsolete in the mid 90’s. Then the Brilliance Coupe came along and pretty much showed the Chinese car industry, and the world, that were was at least one company in China trying to take the coupe segment seriously, that company is Brilliance.

Brilliance developed their own 1.8T engine to fit into the Coupe, a 1.8 Turbo 4 cylinder engine which produces 170bhp to the front wheels. That original Coupe series has a new addition in the form of the Coupe GT, which is still the same Coupe, but with updated asthetics.
