According to MIIT, the car may be named Guanjing (观境).

Brilliance-Renault Guanjing

The C-pillars are asymmetric w.r.t. right- and left-hand sides. Anybody discovered this on any other model, Chinese or otherwise?

No, they are not using any of the established brand names like Jinbei or Huasong for this one. Neither is there any such brand-indicative badging on the car except "Huachen Leinuo" on the rear. The logo too is not that of Jinbei proper but a curvier, fatter "cup" derived from the Jinbei logo.

In the absence of a defined brand, I guess we will have to do with "Brilliance Renault" or "Renault Brilliance" (In the English name of the company, the order of these two words is reversed).

In some of the early posts of this thread, we used "Jinbei" only under an assumption.

On their website, it is simply featured as "Guanjing" whereas the older models like the Haishi, Geruisi, and F50 are denoted as "Jinbei":

Ausrutherford, the following statement from the website that D Mitra provided, may make this (unconventional) Renault-Brilliance joint venture, clearer with regard to the end of the subsidiary name "Shenyang JINBEI Passenger Manufacturing Co., Ltd.", as we knew it..,and the brands in question.

"In January 2018, Renault SAS formerly became a shareholder and a joint venture partner of Renault Brilliance Jinbei Automotive Co., Ltd. (“RBJAC”, formerly known as Shenyang Brilliance JinBei Automobile Co., Ltd.), the Group’s major operating subsidiary in the PRC. Currently, RBJAC is owned as to 51% by the Group and 49% by Renault, respectively. It is planned that RBJAC will engage in the manufacture and sale of LCV products under the JinBei, Renault and Huasong brands. The first goal of RBJAC will be to try to invigorate the JinBei brand and then to manufacture the Renault LCVs in the PRC by 2020."
