Two electric microcars have been approved for Changan. The first one, SC7001DABEV, is a rebadge of Zhidou D3, with the same 30 kW motor.

The second one, SC7001BABEV, looks to be more original. It is a 2-seat car with a 30 kW motor as well.

I cannot discern their Chinese names, so any help in that regard would be welcome.

Re: ChangAn electric microcars

The SC7001DABEV is reported to be known as Falster D3 (法尔斯特D3), probably named after the Danish island.

The SC7001BABEV is reported to be known as Niou II (尼欧Ⅱ).

ChangAn Oushang Niou II

Line-off for Niou II was held in July in Nanjing and a few samples were put on private display at the end of August. Per reports, the Niou II will be marketed by Changan's Oushang commercial division (not the upscale Oushang Auto). The tiny 795-kg runabout is 2.77 m in length with a wheelbase of 1.68 m. It sits on a dedicated electric-vehicle platform, "E1". Powered by a 30 kW/120 Nm motor and equipped with a 21 kWh battery, it has a range of 205 km (NEDC) and a max. speed of 100 km/h.

Niou II relaunched at reduced prices:

Since production officially began in November 2018, a total of 2,051 units of the Niou II have been sold in the period up to August 2020 (of which 1,951 in 2020). The Niou II has not proved to be a successful product compared to newer electric microcars such as the Hongguang Mini EV or Clever EV300.
