Suzuki recently introduced a new model called SX4. It's a hatchback developed in co-operation with Fiat and is now available in Europe and later in North-America. There have been rumours about a sedan version being developed. Sedan cars are very popular in China. So maybe it was not surprising to see the first pictures of this new sedan coming from China. Apparently Suzuki has designed this car together with Chang'an. But will it be exported outside China ? Time will tell.

Just read a review of the Suzuki SX4 sedan. Reviewer loved it's ride, handling and responsive steering. Says it is a bargain for the price.

The SX4 crossover is AWD, something the sedan does not have. The crossover is kind of popular over in the U.S. Sedan is brand new so difficult to guage how Americans will embrace it just yet. Suzuki does small cars very, very well. A bit more quality variation when you get their SUV's though. Some reliability problems with them.

wrxowner...the Suzuki SX4 crossover was on my shopping list but I waited for the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. Worked well for me but I would totally understand a Suzuki SX4 purchase. They're great and provide AWD on demand, too. So far owners have provided rock solid reliability reports. Suzuki does small rigs very, very, very well.

wrxowner78...I totally understand your love for the Suzuki SX4. It remains on my list as my next favorite car, after my '08 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. Suzuki has done a great job with it, as well as the new Suzuki SX Sport sedan.

I prefer the Suzuki SX4 crossover to the SX Sport sedan but both would take care of my driving needs very well.
