I am finding it hard to decide between buying a Suzuki 1.4 Hatch back wagon for 55,000 rmb or the Xiali A series with a Toyota motor for 51,000rmb
Does anyone have any suggestions???
Changhe-Suzuki F-MPV - Wagon R Hatchback 5d CH7140 - 1.4 16v VS.
Xiali N3 Limousine 4d 1.3 16v
I have looked at both the Cherry QQ and the Chevy spark. they just seemed a little small, but what about their relaibility in comparison to the Suzuki or Xiali?
Could you give me your thoughts about dependability and reliabilty of the QQ6 compared to the Spark, Suzuki, And Xiali?
Thanks for your input and information.
QQ6 comes standard with alloy wheels, power win/dl, tachometer, keyless entry and many other options that chevy spark and many other cars at the same price don't have.
Chery QQ was ranked number 1 in quality by JD power
I read the JD Powers report on QQ and it was good also Audi was mentioned. I drove the QQ and I liked the very small turning ratio. When inside it did not feel like a small car, which I liked. I did prefer the 0.8 motor in the Chevy Spark , less vibration and noise.
I made my decision. What a nice little car to drive. So much better than the others in the same price range. I will keep you all posted on it dependability.

Changhe introduced 2008 version of 1.5 Box. The car is available in four versions with prices ranging from 43.900 to 58.900 yuan. This is an increase of 1000 yuan compared to old model. The company justifies the increase in price with better equipment. The engine remains the same. http://news.cheshi.com/gcxc/200810/78660.shtml
Am seeing this for the first time and hope Bedhead had good luck with this old "Beidouxing" as the Chinese call it. I think it was also once called the Dipper. The Changhe product has not been known for its quality and now we see that it may go away altogether.
But it must be said that this model has longevity, as it has been around for quite some time now, maybe eight years or so. Much like the FAW Jiaxing, or Happy Envoy. The upgrades have really made it attractive. I wonder why Changhe stopped using their own logo on it.
Chang'an does make Suzuki but did it ever make this one?
I do believe we are talking about the Wagon R, yes? Well...............THIS is the updated design I am waiting for, and it will be built in China THIS YEAR! This is the 2008 Japanese version, by the way........not sure yet how the chinese version will look but at least the previous spy shots give us SOME idea. Thanks as always Martin! :thumb:
jmsteiny-I would consider buying one of these, maybe in black like the one pictured here, if Suzuki would ship these to the U.S. That is one nice looking design, and I don't really worry about mechanicals with Suzuki, they're pretty competent building smaller rigs like this.
I like this design a lot. Don't think Suzuki's gonna ship it here, though. Oh well. I do really like the new 2010 Suzuki Kizashi, and it is already here. It is a great value and a sporty looking new midsize sedan.
The Kizashi I would buy would be this one here. Never seen it right by a picture of my car before. Interesting. I would get a 6-speed with the GTS package. Foglights, 425-watt RF stereo, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob and sunroof. Retails for $23,244. I think that that is a great deal for all the midsize car you get. It gets 21 city and 29 highway, just a tad worse than our 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer gets. I will keep it on my futures list until a more worthy competitor comes along.
