Chery A1 was nothing more than a stretched and restyled Matiz with a new engine, but the program cost them $130 million.
A1 is a brand new design (prove otherwise, talk is cheap especially from RIHC)
It took koreans more than $500 M to come up with a Japanese ripp-off and koreans are still cheating off with Japanese knock-offs.
