Just wondered apart from the Nanjing factory in the UK does any other Chinese car maker make cars in factories outside China.
Maybe SAIC in South Korea through Ssangyong (although SAIC don't own all of Ssangyong do they)?

At the present time Nanjing don't build cars outside China either.
You cannot count a few pre production models of the ancient MG TF as a fully commissioned assembly line.

Chery Has CKD factories , in Egypt ( Under a diffrent name , producing the A5 and the Eastar ) , and also in Iran , Russia .
Brilliance has also a CKD factory in Egypt , within the BMW factory , making the BS6 ( called Brilliance Galena 2.0 here ) .

I think either Chery will build or are building in Indonesia.
Nanjing MG should not really count as a Chinese brand IMO as its just a reinvigorated British brand owned by the Chinese

So the MG plant in the UK is China's first European car factory and first international factory with a full production line?

That's more than just a factory!
As the pictures say, its a headquarters.
Nanjing MG is now truly an international company, that is why Phaeton can say that the MG brand is still British.

It's a multi-national like all the biggest and best car companies....eventually the likes of Cherry will no longer be Chinese. I mean is Roewe Chinese even? They design their cars in the UK after all. I kind of view NAC MG as anglo chinese....
