Recently Dr. David Chen, General Manager of GM's Beijing Operations was interviewed by Business Week Magazine.
In the interview, which focused on China's alternative energy development for cars, he was quoted as saying:

"There are also many coal-rich regions in China. They are trying very hard to put coal in cars. You have to find an acceptable means to do so."

This was very interesting information. Have any CCF readers a knowledge of where these research efforts have gone so far?
