I understand the DPCA JV has for a while been producing at this location as well.
THACO's new Peugeot factory (THACO High-Class Auto Assembly and Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) in Vietnam and Naza Automotive Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd.'s factory in Malaysia, which was converted last year to a foreign-owned JV with Groupe PSA with the latter holding 56%, are now assembling, via CKD method, the new 3008 and 5008 from DPCA-sourced kits. This is confirmed by comparing the lengths/wheelbases of the vehicles with their Chinese and French-made counterparts, and these metrics are identical or near identical with the Chinese vehicles' measurements....
The product mix at Peugeot's plants in Vietnam and Malaysia has changed recently. It is difficult to say whether DPCA is still supplying kits there, but 408 and 3008 models have been assembled from China-sourced knockdown kits not too long ago.
