Qingxing (QXEV) Jingke 400

The Jingke 400 is an electric version of the Senya S80 developed by Beijing Qingxing Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., a company claiming research association with the prestigious Tsinghua University.

The Jingke 400 will reportedly have a range of 305 km, be powered by a 30 kW or 60 kW motor, a 45.5 kWh battery pack, with a top speed of 120 km/h. (I believe the vehicle is not yet type-approved)

Last year, Beijing Qingxing displayed three LSEVs: the EN7 based on Xiali N7, EN3 and EN8 (link)

So it appears FAW is supplying Jingke with the Senia S80 bodies for which they underpin their self-developed electric powertrain, with some help from Tsinghua U..
Our postings for this thread indicate that the original version of the S80 model goes back to 2007.
I see at the Qingxing website that their factory is located in Jilin, the home of FAW.
And so the New Energy start-up list grows still longer.

Beijing Qingxing Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. has been founded by three alumni of Tsinghua Univ.: Zhang Huakun, Li Kerui, and Li Linguo. Li Linguo is from the Dept. of Automotive Engineering. The three collectively own 52% of the company in the ratio 22:15:15. The rest is owned by various investment companies and investors. In 2016, the Qingxing founders managed to raise Pre-A round financing from these venture capitalists.
